Matrok was dispatched by The Covenant as an aid of Belzruk to protect Feta 'Tothamee. Matrok was bestial, lethal, and very immature compared to the other brute soldiers. Matrok's hatred of The Prowlers actually made this Covenant brute soldier the most feared on Ground Operations. Although Matrok was struck dead by The Prowlers, he had the most UNSC kills then any other War Chieftain during the fierce onslaught on Earth.
